This appeared out of the blue one day. I found I needed to make something about defiant transformation. It seems like a universal adult experience now; finding ways to continue and to live despite the overwhelmingness of everything.

It felt right to make it powerful, and dark, and beautiful. Because it is. It is difficult and good to change.
